Angelo M. Piattelli (Rome, 1968) studied at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and graduated from the School of Library Science at the Vatican. He has worked as a researcher at the Jewish Bibliographical Institute of the Union of Jewish Communities of Italy in Rome and at the Hebrew Bibliography Project in Jerusalem. He has served as a consultant for Hebrew manuscripts and rare printed books at several auction houses in Europe and Israel, and is an official appraiser in this field. He is curator of manuscripts and printed books for the collections of Dr. David and Jemima Jeselsohn, Zurich and David and Cindy Sofer, London. He is a member of the Italian Association for Jewish Studies and of the editorial board of La Rassegna Mensile di Israel. He is the former President of the Hevrat Yehudè Italia be-Israel (the Association of Italian Jews in Israel). Partner-CEO of Kedem Auction House.
